BioI am a working Mom from the suburbs of Chicago. I spend my time taking care of my family; kid, husband (aka giant kid), and 3 painfully spoiled cats. And I craft. I think I'm a bit ADD when it comes to crafting. We have a saying in my family, "like I need another hobby." I sew, knit and crochet. I can spin my own yarn and own 2 spinning wheels. I also make hand sewn teddy bears and also jewelry. I even made my own wedding dress. While working on my various projects I multi-task. I work and watch. You can see the list of shows in current favor. Slightly embarassingly large. Don't judge me, I suspect some of you can relate. :)
I started out on LJ with the intent of keeping in touch with some friends, and keeping an eye on others. I don't always have the time to call and chat with the people I care about, but some of them are avid and prolific bloggers, and by checking in here I can keep track and keep in touch. It's a nice option to have.
As time moved on I started looking around for people that shared an interest. I found many people who share a pasion for the same show, hobby, what have you. And I have been entertained for hours by the bright, witty, snarky, sarcastic, insightful postings. I have laughed and cried. It has really made an impact on my life.
My thanks to you smart, funny, insightful people. Thanks for entertaining me, and letting share your thoughts - good and bad. And the pretty. So many thanks for the pretty.
